Issue Description:
There have been numerous reports of excessive damage to DLT7000
tape drives (pn 370-3332-0X and 370-3272-0X) either during or
prior to it's return to the Distribution Center.
Upon further investigation, it has been noted that the door handle
shaft of the DLT7000 tape drive may become twisted and damaged if
the handle is not in the closed position prior to it's return to
the Distribution Center.

Corrective Action:
All authorized Field Service Representatives that service and return
DLT7000 FRUs (pn 370-3332-0X and 370-3272-0X) to local Distribution
Centers are prompted to follow the recommendation shown below:
Before packaging a DLT7000 FRU for shipment (pn 370-3332-0X or
370-3272-0X) to the Distribution Center:
1. Apply medium pressure to the DLT7000 FRU door handle.
2. Rotate the DLT7000 FRU door handle into the downward (closed)
position.
The door handle is located on the right side of the drive and
protrudes forward ~1.25 inches.

Implementation Footnote:
i) In case of MANDATORY FINs, Enterprise Services will attempt to
contact all affected customers to recommend implementation of
the FIN.
ii) For CONTROLLED PROACTIVE FINs, Enterprise Services mission critical
support teams will recommend implementation of the FIN (to their
respective accounts), at the convenience of the customer.
iii) For REACTIVE FINs, Enterprise Services will implement the FIN as the
need arises.
