Issue Description:
At the right rear of the E10000 system cabinet, the leveling foot can bite into
the sequencer A.C. power cord when it is adjusted up to move the E10000 system.
84 E10000 systems shipped prior to Jun/23/97 could encounter this problem.
Starting Jun/23/97, Sun Manufacturing began rerouting the A.C. Power Cord
to eliminate the potential for this problem. The affected Customer List is
available from Edist following the FCO Supporting Documents link.

Corrective Action:
Order the following kit, one (1) per E10000 system, includes instructions:
809-1002-01 KIT, FCO, E10000 SEQ POWER CORD
1. Inspect sequencer A.C. power cord for damage at the exit location on
the E10000 chassis in the area where the leveler screw would be found.
2. If damaged, replace cord. (530-2265-02 US, 530-2266-02 International).
3. Remove lower removable cable tie-wrap and flat head screw and discard.
Attach two cable clamps to the power cord (530-2265-02 US, 530-2266-02 ROW).
Attach cable clamps to E10000 chassis with two (2) M5X12 screws
(240-2864-01).
Billing Type:
Warranty: Sun will provide parts at no charge under Warranty
Service. On-Site Labor Rates are based on how the
system was initially installed.
Contract: Sun will provide parts at no charge. On-Site Labor Rates
are based on the type of service contract.
Non Contract: Sun will provide parts at no charge. Installation by
Sun is available based on the On-Site Labor Rates
defined in the Price List.

i) In case of Mandatory FCOs, SunService will attempt to contact all known
customers to recommend the part upgrade.
ii) For controlled proactive swap FCOs, SunService mission critical support
teams will initiate proactive swap efforts for their respective accounts,
as required.
iii) For Replace upon Failure FCOs, SunService partners will implement the
necessary corrective actions as and when they are required.
