GoalStarting with VTL+ 2.0 (Build 1590), the auto config backup utility was removed from the VTL Console. The following manual VTL config backup procedure is recommended to be done periodically, so that a manual restore can be done in the event of a DR situation. offload the following directories where HOSTNAME is the name of the VTL node and DATE is the current date: tar -cvf /export/home/tmp_HOSTNAME_DATE.tgz /tmp NOTE: The "manual" VTL config restore process is to engage Oracle-Sun support who will then engage FalconStor support after the Solaris OS and VTL packages are reloaded.
