PROBLEM OVERVIEW:
Faulty PCI Riser Board

WHAT STATE SHOULD THE SYSTEM BE IN TO BE READY TO PERFORM THE RESOLUTION ACTIVITY? :

A data backup is not a pre-requisite but is a wise precaution.
The customer should conduct an orderly software system shutdown.

WHAT ACTION DOES THE ENGINEER NEED TO TAKE:

1. Remove associated PCI card
2. Remove PCI Riser Board
3. Install replacement PCI Riser Board
4. Re-install associated PCI card

WHAT ACTION DOES THE CUSTOMER NEED TO TAKE TO RETURN THE SYSTEM TO AN OPERATIONAL STATE:

Boot and check for full functionality.
