GoalDocument to the SL8500 CLI User's Guide.SolutionIntroduction:The use of this document is intended for Oracle internal field engineers. Its format is written for general reference and not as a customer facing user’s guide. Throughout this manual the acronym “CLI” will be used. This stands for Command Line Interface, or a user interface in which you type commands instead of choosing them from a menu or selecting an icon. The content of this guide is microcode specific and not all commands contained in this guide will be relevant for all microcode versions. Guide users should be aware that Syntax and the availability of commands may not be correct or available to all versions of microcode. Every attempt was made to document command availability and syntax. The content of this guide was verified at version 3.77 and above. Users are welcome to submit suggestions for improvement to this guide. The commands presented in this guide are for users logged into the CLI as user ‘service’ or ‘advsrv’. Commands with required parameters are enclosed with the symbols - < > Commands with optional parameters are enclosed with the symbols - [ ] Examples used are sample output only. And should be used for reference only. Output may not be typical and relative to other command output from another library. By document design, examples are not provided for all commands.
