Goal

How to check the load count on an SL24 or SL48 for cleaning tapes as well as all tapes.

Solution

Steps to Follow
The load count is displayed on the RMI Status/Inventory page.
On the SL48, the load count for cleaning tapes as well as all other tapes is displayed on the RMI Status/Inventory page.  This count is learned and updated after each load to any compatible drive.  Expired cleaning cartridges are flagged, the library flashes the 'Attention' LED when an expired cartridge is loaded, and a warning message is posted in the library log.

Refer to the attached file for an example of the RMI Status/Inventory page.

SL24, SL48, Cleaning count, Clean status, Clean cartridge, Expired cleaning cartridge, Attention LED
