NOTE: Requests made in the context of an unknown community, or a community with insufficient access rights, may result in confusing "object not found" error messages. 3-1 In the navigation frame on PMC console web page, under ALERT SNMP, click Community Management. The management frame displays the Community Management page. 3-2 Under Edit Community, click Edit. The management frame displays the Edit Community page. 3-3 Under Add Community, enter the community information. - Community Name : Enter a unique name. - IP Address : Enter a Network IP Address to be associated with the community name. - Subnet Mask : Enter a subnet mask to be associated with the community name. - Access : Select the desired access rights for the new community, "Read-only," or "Read-write."
