Goal

Description
Acquiring Rack Extender Brackets for EZ Install Modules

EZ install modules were not designed to accommodate the same rack depths as the initial version of SL500.

Level 2 Tape Hardware Support will need to contact OS Tape Engineering to get parts as needed.

Solution

Steps to Follow
The extension are used with the current rear mounting brackets. They extend the bracket by 3 inches so you can add or subtract 3 inches to the current guidelines for rack depth. There is a left and right bracket and a set will be required for each module that is being installed, (Base, DEM, CEM).

Rack extender brackets have been made in limited quantities. They are not available by part number at this time and must be requested through Level 2 Tape Hardware Support.
