How to display the Intellistore EA release level
How to display the Common Platform release level
Release level
IntelliStore EA upgrade version must be compatible with the version of the underlying Common Platform
Steps to FollowSteps to Follow
To view the
Archive System (AS) software version from the
GUI:
- Open the 'Software Management' folder in the left pane of the GUI.
- Select 'Download Packages'
- View the packages listed in the right pane. The active/committed packages will be displayed with the 'Actvcommitted' status for that package.
There are 3 areas for reviewing installed software from the Linux prompt, Common Platform (CP), Archive System (AS) and Thirdparty (TPP).
For Common Platform, IntelliStore server:
- The following command will display a log of dated CP upgrades performed on the system.
- #cat /export/cplogs/sds/cp_sds_log
- For Archive System and Common Platform:
- To view the CP and AS version and releases, look in the following directory which will list both CP and AS packages. Common Platform modules are prefixed with 'cp-' and Archive System modules are prefixed with 'as-'. The AS (Archive System) versions may have particular modules that have been upgraded while others have not. Perform the following command and determine the latest version installed by analyzing the date the file was created/modified along with the version level.
- From Linux prompt:
- #ls -l /opt/download
For Archive System (AS):
- From the Linux prompt:
- #ls -l /opt/archive/asos
- Follow the symbolic link for the 'active' directory which will include the actual (active) version number in the directory path.
- Verify that both the 'active' and 'committed' links point to the same directory.
For Thirdparty packages:
- From the Linux prompt:
- #ls -l /opt/3rdPartyPackages
For ALL installed packages (including thirdparty):
- From the Linux prompt:
- #rpm -q -a | sort | more
For listing ALL recently installed packages:
- From the Linux prompt:
- #rpm -q -a --last | more
For obtaining the version level of a particular module:
- You can verify the version of a particular CP module by obtaining the module name from performing a directory listing command. The modules are prefixed with 'cp-'.
- Obtain directory list of modules:
- #ls /opt
- Identify the active version thru the sym link:
- #ls -al /opt/
- where "" is a member of the module directories displayed from above. Follow the symbolic link line which will indicate the actual "active" version to the right of the '->' sign.
