Description
NAS OS update image 4.20 M3 Build 1 was released on 03/12/2007 to provide customers with the advantages outlined in the body of this document.

Steps to Follow
The software upgrade provide compatibility with the CSM1 and CSM2 trays daisy chained together.

Performance improvements have been added on the back end storage code specifically on the CSM1 and CSM2 storage trays.
4.20M3B1 is required in order to use the new storage code.
The NAS OS update does not exist for the Sun StorageTek NAS 5210 because the product does not contain the same type of back end storage.
This OS update and storage code update are recommended but optional.
