Solution Type Technical Instruction Sure Solution 1012582.1 : Sun Fire[TM] System Controller: setupplatform is unable to configure linkspeed and linkmode
PreviouslyPublishedAs 217320 Description When using the "setupplatform" command on a Sun Fire[TM] System Controller, you are not able to set up values for linkspeed and linkmode. Steps to Follow The values of linkspeed and linkmode default to autonegotiation. What has been negotiated during the bootup is not visible with the "showplatform" command. The only way to find out what the results are of the autonegotiation process is to capture the output of the Sun Fire System Controller's serial port during the System Controller's boot.
