DescriptionScApp firmware logs periodic "I'm Alive" message

Steps to FollowA feature was integrated into the Sun Fire platforms ScApp firmware version 5.19.0 (patchID:114526-01), which will allow the System Controllers (SCs) to log an "I'm Alive" message to syslog with a reporting interval of 4 hour.
This feature is enabled on both main / spare SCs and the messages observed will be similar to that reported in the following example :
main SC :
Aug 06 14:36:52 v4u-4800c-sc0 Platform.SC: Main, up 0 days 00:17:12, Memory 5,610,248
Aug 06 18:36:52 v4u-4800c-sc0 Platform.SC: Main, up 0 days 04:17:12, Memory 4,184,328
Aug 06 22:36:52 v4u-4800c-sc0 Platform.SC: Main, up 0 days 08:17:12, Memory 5,003,520
Aug 07 02:36:52 v4u-4800c-sc0 Platform.SC: Main, up 0 days 12:17:12, Memory 3,984,624
Aug 07 06:36:52 v4u-4800c-sc0 Platform.SC: Main, up 0 days 16:17:12, Memory 4,854,536
spare SC :
Aug 06 14:36:53 v4u-4800c-sc1 Platform.SC: Spare, up 0 days 00:08:12, Memory 1,872,440
Aug 06 18:36:53 v4u-4800c-sc1 Platform.SC: Spare, up 0 days 04:08:12, Memory 1,841,136
Aug 06 22:36:53 v4u-4800c-sc1 Platform.SC: Spare, up 0 days 08:08:12, Memory 1,886,840
Aug 07 02:36:52 v4u-4800c-sc1 Platform.SC: Spare, up 0 days 12:08:12, Memory 1,854,416
Aug 07 06:36:52 v4u-4800c-sc1 Platform.SC: Spare, up 0 days 16:08:12, Memory 1,844,488
The above ScApp platform log entries will be forwarded to any configured platform loghost service provider.
For example, a platform that is configured to use the SYSLOG facility local0 on the loghost server will forward the following
entries to the messages log file for each logged "I'm Alive" message cycle :
Aug 07 06:36:52 v4u-4800c-sc0 v4u-4800c-sc0 Platform.SC: [ID 667925 local0.notice] Main, up 0 days 16:17:12, Memory 4,854,536
Aug 07 06:36:52 v4u-4800c-sc1 v4u-4800c-sc1 Platform.SC: [ID 511668 local0.notice] Spare, up 0 days 16:08:12, Memory 1,844,488
The above feature was integrated into the ScApp 5.19.0 release as a means of logging a periodic message to syslog to report the SC's operating status.
As observed from the above messages logged to the main / spare SCs' console , platform logs & any configured loghost service, the information included
to the "I'm Alive" logged messages will include -- SC uptime, memory in-use (SC's Total Memory - Free Memory) , and main/spare state. At this point,
the 4 hour reporting interval is deemed to be suitable for most configuration environments and is not a configurable value via ScApp shell's commands.
On a Sunfire/Netra 1280/2900, these messages can be turned off via the "seteventreporting off" command at the lom prompt.
