SolutionSteps to Follow Follow this procedure in order to obtain a Service Mode password. The following System Controller information is required prior to obtaining a Service Mode password:
sc0:SC> service Note that showsc -v output to obtain information can be imprecise, as some systems (eg: V1280, E2900) will return different values for hostid than you are expecting. The showsc command shows the DOMAIN hostid, not the SC's hostid. Use ONLY the procedure above using the 'service' command. NOTE:
