PreviouslyPublishedAs 214301 Description This document addresses the procedure to change the public hostname of a Sun Fire [TM] 12K/15K/E20K/E25K domain. Steps to Follow In general, the sys-unconfig command is used to change the hostname of a Solaris[TM] Operating System. If this method is used on a Sun Fire[TM] 15K system, however, the domain management network between the domain and the system controller will also be unconfigured. To change the public hostname of a Sun Fire 12K/15K/E20K/E25K domain, the following steps should be performed.
