 Q.  What is the Sun Blade[TM] 150 workstation (refresh)?

 A.  The Sun Blade[TM] 150 workstation (refresh) replaces the original Sun
     Blade 150 workstation. It is the newest low cost 64-bit workstation
     offered by Sun Microsystems. The Sun Blade 150 workstation (refresh)
     offers double the disk storage, double the base memory and DVD-ROM
     standard over the original Sun Blade 150 workstation.

 Q.  What are the differences among the Sun Blade 150 workstation models?

 A.  The following matrix outlines the differences among the Sun Blade 150
     workstation models:

 A.  The Sun Blade 150 workstation (refresh) has the same form factor as
     the original Sun Blade 150. The Sun Blade 150 workstation (refresh) is
     similar in form factor to the Ultra 5 and the Sun Blade 100.

 Q.  Can Ultra 5 & 10 workstations be upgraded to the Sun Blade 150
     workstation (refresh)?

 A.  Yes. The Sun Blade 150 workstation (refresh) is binary compatible with
     these older systems while being considerably less expensive, offering
     better CPU and graphics performance plus new functionality like USB,
     1394, DVD and up to 160GB hard disk internally.  Sun offers upgrades
     from many existing workstation models to the Sun Blade 150 refresh.
     Sun Ultra 5 & 10 customers should consider upgrading to the Sun Blade
     150 refresh workstation as a replacement. Customers will receive a
     trade-in allowance towards the purchase of any Sun Blade 150 refresh
     workstation. To see how much you can save by trading in an existing
     Sun workstation or competitive workstation, please go to
     www.sun.com/ibb (Upgrade Migrations and Allowance Matrices) then
     choose workstations.

 Q.  Is the Sun Blade 150 workstation (refresh) binary compatible with
     Sun's previous workstation offerings?

 A.  Sun workstations are designed to be 100 percent binary compatible
     with the previous generation of workstations, so that all Solaris
     applications can run unchanged.
