GoalSun StorEdge[TM] L25 and L100 Tape Libraries, have an internal error log,called an event history. This can be collected and used, in conjunction with the /var/adm/messages file, and application logs, to understand problems.SolutionSteps to FollowTo collect the event history, the unit's address in a web browser, will bring up the following menu: (There is a network port on the Prism management card). Prism Home PMC Server Management ALERT E-mail ALERT Library Management Fibre Channel Management (Fibre channel units only) Help Click on the icon by ALERT Library Management and you get this menu. Prism Home PMC Server Management ALERT E-mail ALERT Library Management Library Status Library Configuration Library Statistics Service Operations Monitoring Configuration Event History Help Select the icon for Event History.
