Steps to Follow

If your customer is attempting to dual host a A3x00 array in a 1X5 configuration, the 2 controllers in the array module must be set to independent mode. You can check this by running the following command after the RAID Manager (RM6) software is installed.

# storutil -c nasc_001 -d
nasc_001:
Controller A: 1T71525033 ( c3t5d0 )
Controller B: 1T93500060 ( c2t4d1 )
Independent Controller Configuration: OFF

To make changes to this configuration you use the same command with different options.

#storutil -c nasc_001 -i on
storutil succeeded!
