Refer to the "Battery Fru" chapter in the FRU Replacement Guide for details. SolutionSteps to Follow1. Verify battery LED before proceeding with replacement.. The battery LED, located on the far right side of the controller module, is amber if the battery is bad or missing, blinking green if the battery is charging, and solid green when the battery is fully charged (as in the table below):

4. To replace the battery in a 33x0 SCSI Array, follow the FRU Replacement procedure for: "Replacing a SCSI Battery". 5. To replace the battery in a 3510 FC or 3511 SATA Array, follow the FRU Replacement procedure for: "Replacing an FC Battery". 6. For the 3510 FC or 3511 SATA array, set the in-service as described in section 4.5 FC Battery Status and In-Service Date.
