Steps to Follow How do you reset the LOM configuration if you are attempting to regain control of the server via the LOM card? You will need one of the following:
Access to the LOM port will require a known username and password. If the username and password is unknown, one will have to reset the LOM username Power cycle the original unit, and bring the unit back up. Delete the existing user in lom once you have obtained access back. Note: In the above process, if OBP access is alluding you, then remove the SCC (System Configuration Card) and connect to ttya for console. This will give you OBP access.
