This issue may also be encountered with Sun StorEdge "set" and "sys" commands. On certain occasions, this condition could also lead to data integrity issues. The Sun StorEdge command "ver" at a 6120 or T3+ prompt will indicate the current firmware revision, as in the following example: 6120a:/:<1>ver 6120 Release 3.1.2 Fri Dec 19 14:49:54 PST 2003 (129.156.169.50) Copyright (C) 1997-2003 Sun Microsystems, Inc. Symptoms Should the described issue occur, messages similar to the following are logged to "/var/adm/messages.t3" or the "/var/adm/messages.6120" file if remote logging is set up.
