Symptoms

Dual Robot Feature is Not Available on E-Delivery Website.
Edelivery website does not have all SL3000 features.
Redundant Electronics not found on website.
Open Volser not found on website.
How to enable Dual Robot Feature on library.
Unable to find any information on why the Dual Bot file is not available for the SL3000 on E-Delivery.
Dualbot not available.

Cause

This is now supported via the CLI port.

Solution

Some features in FRS-3.0 code for the SL3000 are controlled by hardware activation files that are available on the E-Delivery site http://edelivery.oracle.com/ . However, other features are now controlled by CLI commands. Below are the various features and how they are controlled:

Licensed features controlled by Hardware Activation Files downloaded from E-Delivery and installed with SLConsole FRS-5.0:

a). Capacity in increments of 25, 100, 200 500, 700 1000 Slots
b). BASE and DEM Initial 200 Slot Capacities
c). Dual TCP/IP
d). Partitioning
e). Multiport Fibre

Licensed Features Controlled by CLI HwActivation Commands:

a). Dual Robot -                    SL3000> hwActivation dualRobot <enable | disable>
b). Redundant Electronics - SL3000> hwActivation redundantElectronics <enable | disable>
c). Service -                       SL3000> hwActivation serviceFeature <enable | disable>
d). Open VOLSER -           SL3000> hwActivation openVolser <enable | disable>

Example:

The Dual Tall-Bot feature is now enabled in the CLI with a hardware activation command.
There is no SL3000 "Dual Tall-Bot" license on E-Delivery.
