Solution  1017817.1 :   Raritan Paragon II KVM mouse stops working after installing patch 115553-[11-15].

Symptoms
After installing USB Framework patch 115553-[11-15] the usb SUN mouse stopped working when connected to Raritan Paragon II KVM switch.

No mouse movement while in CDE (common desktop environment) and mouse buttons are not functioning.

No mouse movement while in CDE and mouse buttons are not functioning.

Resolution
This is a known vender (Raritan) problem.
Customer's should contact Raritan (see contact list below) for a P2CIM-USBG2 CIM. This CIM comes with a toggle switch that allows users to switch between PC/MAC usb and SUN usb configurations. An alternative to P2CIM-USBG2 is P2CIM-SUN CIM that supports cpu's with SUN type keyboards and mouse ports, no PC's.

Relief/Workaround

Alternative, backout patch that caused the problem or install 115553-06 .

Additional Information
Patch does not affect Sun Enterprise[TM] 420R.
