The effected CEI number is 3100276053. Some of these trays were built using the wrong fibre cable inside the tray. Trays with the wrong cable may experience Fibre link errors and degraded link performance. These trays can be identified WITHOUT removing them from the Library: 1) View drive tray from rear. Look through the ventilation holes and determine the color of the Fibre cable connector and strain relief. Verify you are looking inside the tray and not looking at the bulk-head Fibre LC adapter. 2) A blue connector/strain relief is BAD. 3) A white/tan connector is GOOD. Additional verification of the correct cable can be performed as follows: 1) Remove tray from Library. 2) Open top cover of tray. 3) The Correct Fibre cables should be orange colored with a PN 10800316. The installed SFP transceivers should 850 nm. 4) The Wrong Fibre cable is yellow with PN 10800339. This cable is only correct for use on long-wave 1310 Nm SFP transceivers.
