PreviouslyPublishedAs 226923
Applies to:Sun StorageTek V2X SVA Disk System - Version: Not Applicable to Not Applicable - Release: N/A to N/AAll Platforms Updated for currency 05/20/11 SymptomsThe PFAELG4A.DAT error log overflows is due to a high quantity of FSC3FFA errors on V2X and V2Xf. CauseThe FSC3FFA entries in the PFAELG4A.CNT or PFAELG4B.CNT file are not errors - they are events and are not a problem.
SolutionResolutionTo eliminate overflow: 1. VSM/SVA HW support needs to review PFAELG4A.CNT and PFAELG4B.CNT files to verify no indication of a problem. Note: Specifically check for errors when pfaelg4a.dat file exceeded 5 MB and was renamed pfaelg4b.dat. 2. If entries are just informational, no action is required other than verify V2X or V2Xf box is at latest code levels. Attachments This solution has no attachment |
