Symptoms

Tape sticking in the robotic hand
No error code
LSM has the service required light lit
Cartridge keeps getting stuck in the hand

Solution

Resolution
Take the following steps to resolve problem:

1. Remove the stuck tape and check for possible defects.
2. Clean fingers.
3. Check the library error log for previous FSC's to provide further information as to the failing part.
4. Run Get/Put Diagnostics on library or run a load and unload operation from the backup applacation.
5. Check the library error log for new FSC's to provide further information as to the failing part.
6. If problem continues, replace the hand assembly.
