Additional Information
Phantom Bots Noted In SLC In 4-Handbot Library

Four additional HandBot icons can be seen in SLC as inoperative HandBots event though they do not exist.

Several factors must occur for this problem to occur:

-Use of the SSD to the right.

-At the start of the HandBot sweep the bot must be at the inner most inside column.

Note: The HandBots rest at this location after a full rail audit.

-Start of rail initialization.

-Marginal conditions on the HandBot or rail.

Solution

Resolution
Microcode fixed this issue in release 3.72 and above.

As a temporary work around insure the HandBots are not at the inner most column before activating the SSD to the right.  This can be done via a physical audit in SLC to a different location.

A rounding code error caused the library controller to think another robot was on the same rail.  Once any rail indicates that two bots are on a rail the library assumes it has 8 bots.  This will cause four phantom bots to appear on the SLC status screen.
