Resolving Setup/Partition Configuration GUI Issue With V26 Code
*** This is NOT an operational bug and it will not affect operational machines ***

There has been a bug identified in the C4, V26 code, and a means to recover from it. It is a setup bug, not an operational bug and it will not affect operational machines. Engineering is working on a fix in the setup/partition configuration GUI. There is a 'Remove' button in the lower right hand corner of the GUI. If it gets clicked when there is no partition to remove, the personality of the C4 gets reset to the Quantum personality.

This in itself can be reset to the Sun personality via the telnet command line interface, however from then on the C4 cannot be re-ipl'd.

**The re-init will fail after calibrating the drives.**

The clearing action is to load V14, re-init the library and then reload V26.
The personality can be reset to the Sun personality by enabling telnet in the servicce GUI:

Open a telnet session to IP address of the C4, and then at the PX500> prompt: type smgr pers 17, press and then reboot the C4.

Note: To do operation, you must log into the library as "Service" and use the service password: ---> ATLfse.
