Symptoms

RTDs will not vary offline

Cause

Customer took the VTSS offline and powered down.
RTDs not varied offline before VTSS power down.

Solution

The VT Vary VTSS command DOES NOT change the state of the VTDs or RTDs associated with the specified VTSS. Vary RTDs offline to a VTSS before varying the VTSS offline and powering down.
