This is outdated information. Set for deletion. SymptomsFSC30B1Stuck tape Library fails to load tape into drive Fatal error Offline Changes{CHANGE}Cause{CAUSE}SolutionResolutionThis is fixed with the release of 3.00.13 L700 code and above. The fix insures that the library will return the tape to its cell after a drive load failure. Code versions after 3.00.13, the library attempts to put the upside-down tape into the drive 3 times and goes to the calibration block of the library each time to ensure the cartridge is seated into the hand. Each time the library logs a FSC30B1 then ends up putting the tape back into the original cell. The library stays online and ready for another command. (This has been verified by engineering.) When LTO tape is placed into library CAP upside-down, it will load into drive and cause a fatal error. @ L700, L180, LTO, upside down cartridge, ACSLS 6.1.1 Previously Published As STKKB526 Attachments This solution has no attachment |
