Solution Type Problem Resolution Sure Solution 1012746.1 : Microcode upgrade procedure produces - BASE initialize error 2003
PreviouslyPublishedAs 217515 Symptoms During a microcode upgrade from Ver. 21-05-27-00/00 to Ver. 21-06-22-00/00 or higher, a message was displayed after the first reboot of the SVP (Service Processor). The actual message appears in the "RAID INFORMATION SERVICE DISPLAY" window. Resolution The fix / workaround for this is to "IGNORE" the message and just continue with the upgrade. This usually occurs when upgrading the microcode manually and the SVP is still in "Modify" mode, this does not occur when using the wizard. The last reboot of the SVP, the "RAID INFORMATION SERVICE DISPLAY" comes up all "READY". For future reference, the suggested procedure is to switch into View Mode as soon as the SVP allows. Additional Information Note: This error can be seen on code upgrades involving other levels.
