Solution

Resolution
Solution is to change the emulation mode of the jukebox.
In this case, the error occurred in the Sun StorEdge[TM] L25 tape library.  Customer had the wrong emulation setting M4 instead of M1500. Need to set it to M1500 so that the jukebox inquiry string reports the mode correctly.

L100 tape library can also have the same problem and emulation for that is M2500.

The Emulation option allows you to set the library to act as either a Quantum ATL library or an M4 Data Library.

To set the emulation:

To return to the Configuration Screen without changing the option setting, press Cancel .

Note: You must reboot the library before this setting will take effect.
