Symptoms

In the CLI or GUI, an internal array with a vdisk created will show
up as external storage.

Resolution

The solution is to run the following on the SP

vmcfg configure -t t4 -i arrayxx -u root -p sun1

where arrayxx is the array that shows up incorrectly.

After the command completes restart the UI with the script "/opt/se6x20/bin/restart_se6000"

or reboot the SP.

If the array is still showing up as external run the following commands
to check the connection to the array. This will also allow you to check
if the array is responding to queries:

1) ping the array
EX:

[sp0]# ping array00
array00 is alive
[sp0]#

2) try "telnet array00"
EX:

[sp0]# telnet array00
Trying 192.168.0.40...
Connected to array00.
Escape character is '^]'.

array00:/:<1>

3) Then try "/opt/SUNWstade/bin/wget --http-user=root --http-passwd=sun1
http://array##/vol.htm"

This should try to get the "/web/vol.htm" file on the array and copy it to the SP.
EX:

[sp0]# cd /var/tmp
[sp0]# /opt/SUNWstade/bin/wget --http-user=root --http-passwd=sun1
http://array00/vol.htm
--11:20:22-- http://array00/vol.htm
=> `vol.htm'
Resolving array00... done.
Connecting to array00[192.168.0.40]:80... connected.
HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 200 OK
Length: unspecified [text/html]
   [  <=>                                                   ] 4,469        973.00B/s
Last-modified header invalid -- time-stamp ignored.
11:20:27 (973.00 B/s) - `vol.htm' saved [4469]
[sp0]#

Usually you will find that the first 2 commands will work but the "wget"
will fail or hang. If the "wget" does not retrieve the vol.htm file,
reset the array controller (disable u#, then enable u#) or the tray
(reset -y from the array).
