Symptoms
The installation of new or additional hard disk drives (HDDs) into a Sun
StorEdge[TM] 99x0 system fails with ONL0813E and the new PG/HDDs are left
"blocked."

Resolution
Unconfigure the incorrectly configured new HDDs. (A red light should
appear on the HDDs.) Eject and re-insert the HDDs into the HDU, and
configure them with the correct capacity.

Refer to the Maintenance Manual for more details.

Additional Information
The procedure to add new HDDs (disks) and Parity Groups into a
Sun StorEdge 99x0 system includes a step to select and configure the
capacity of the new HDD. If the incorrect capacity is selected, the
procedure continues but the new devices are left "blocked" and the ONL0813E
error is displayed.
Additionally, error "A7E1" will be logged into the SSB logs:
SSB EC = A7E1 PDEV Type unmatch
A7E1 means that there is an inconsistent HDD type installation.
This issue relates to new HDDs being added/installed and NOT to HDDs being
replaced.
