Solution Type Problem Resolution Sure Solution 1010679.1 : Resolving irregular LOM events on the Netra[TM] T1400 and Netra [TM] T1405 after patch upgrade
PreviouslyPublishedAs 214749 Symptoms Netra[TM] T1400 and Netra[TM] T1405 platforms may report hardware failures after installation of patch: Patch ID: 110208-18 or Patch ID: 110208-19. These failures were not seen for Patch ID: 110208-17 and lower. All failures are false positives which means they are not real failures but these errors must not be ignored. Resolution The resolution for this issue was released in LOM: Patch ID: 110208-20 but always update to the latest patch where possible, currently Patch ID:110208-22. The resolution is as follows: Download Patch ID: 110208-22 from Sunsolve[SM] At a Solaris[TM] root prompt, issue the following: # /usr/sbin/patchadd 110208-22 Then perform a reconfigure reboot: # /usr/sbin/reboot -- -r When the platform returns to multi user mode, this issue will be resolved. Relief/Workaround This may prevent platform resets until the patch can be added.
