Solution Type Problem Resolution Sure Solution 1009727.1 : SC reboot hangs after FW update on Sun Fire [TM] T2000
PreviouslyPublishedAs 213371 Symptoms After a firmware update and rebooting the sc, the sc never comes back up. When the SC is power-cycled and post captured it hangs at "ETHERNET CPU LOOPBACK TEST". Resolution The sc has lost its settings and is now using default values. The default ethernet connection value netsc_dhcp is true. If there is no DHCP server on the network the sc will hang looking for one. To bring the sc back up you must physically remove the power cords and the sc ethernet cable. Once the power cords are reinserted the sc should come back up. Using the serial mgt connection re-enter the network settings into the sc and reboot the sc. Re-attach the net mgt cable and you should be able to access the sc.
