Resolution
Sun StorageTek[TM] 5310/5320/61x0/61x0/6540/25x0: Access to Volumes Cause ASC/ASCQ Codes 0x94/0x01

Sense 05 = Illegal Request
ASC/ASCQ 94/01 = Invalid Request Due to Current Logical Unit Ownership.

The request is illegal because the volume is not owned by the controller receiving the request.

Please check your host multipathing solution, and your host type setting for your Initiator/Host Port. For more information about the pairing of a specific multipath solution and the host type, please review:

<Document: 1003750.1>

This message is usually caused by the host type being set for explicit fail over, and the multipath solution supports implicit failover. For more information about the terms implicit and explicit, please review:

<Document: 1003652.1>

Additional Information
Any host type may receive this event. The problem denotes a specific SCSI code defined by the vendor, but can occur on any host attaching to the array. Each host provides and interprets SCSI sense data in different fashions. We have provided samples for reference.
