Solution Type Problem Resolution Sure Solution 1008039.1 : Sun StorageTek[TM] 99XX: Raid Manager (CCI) raidscan command does not show GUID of Device with Veritas Storage Foundation VxDMP Module installed
PreviouslyPublishedAs 211077 Symptoms This issue applies only to Windows 2003 Server with HORCM and Veritas Storage Foundation 4.3 installed. The CCI raidscan command does not show the GUID of the command devices. The GUID is required to ensure that HORCM can find the command device upon a reboot. With windows drive letters are subject to change upon reboot, therefore it is recommended that the GUID is used for the command device entry in the horcm.conf file. When this configuration exists the raidscan command will NOT list the GUID for the command devices. This requires the removal and installation of Veritas Storage Foundation software without the DMP option.
