It has also been determined that individual files can be FTP'd to the Solaris host without error. Below is an ls -l listing on the Suse 9.0 linix host: Note the Year/Date (1954-03-11) on below files. fatboy:/mnt/IMAGE4/STUDENTS/BEHRANG/WU-fMRI/HBM/fonts/f1/PSFONTS # ls -l total 1456 dr-xr-xr-x 3 bnosratm ensc_image 4096 2006-06-04 15:07 . dr-xr-xr-x 3 bnosratm ensc_image 4096 2006-06-04 15:07 .. -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 28123 1954-03-11 12:30 CMB10.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 27919 1954-03-11 12:31 CMBX10.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 27463 1954-03-11 12:31 CMBX12.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 27471 1954-03-11 12:32 CMBX5.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 27613 1954-03-11 12:32 CMBX6.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 28095 1954-03-11 12:32 CMBX7.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 27902 1954-03-11 12:32 CMBX8.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 28042 1954-03-11 12:32 CMBX9.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 27492 1954-03-11 12:32 CMBXSL10.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 35115 1954-03-11 12:33 CMBXTI10.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 26543 1954-03-11 12:33 CMCSC10.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 26509 1954-03-11 12:33 CMCSC8.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 26547 1954-03-11 12:33 CMCSC9.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 8355 1954-03-11 12:37 CMINCH.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 29399 1954-03-11 12:35 CMITT10.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 28316 1954-03-11 12:43 CMR10.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 27726 1954-03-11 12:43 CMR12.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 27870 1995-10-11 16:51 CMR17.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 27613 1954-03-11 12:44 CMR5.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 27811 1954-03-11 12:44 CMR6.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 28047 1954-03-11 12:44 CMR7.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 28027 1954-03-11 12:44 CMR8.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 28273 1954-03-11 12:44 CMR9.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 28709 1954-03-11 12:44 CMSL10.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 29516 1954-03-11 12:45 CMSL12.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 29112 1954-03-11 12:45 CMSL8.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 29198 1954-03-11 12:45 CMSL9.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 28080 1954-03-11 12:45 CMSLTT10.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 20696 1954-03-11 12:45 CMSS10.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 21006 1954-03-11 12:45 CMSS12.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 21106 1995-10-11 16:51 CMSS17.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 20869 1954-03-11 12:46 CMSS8.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 20941 1954-03-11 12:46 CMSS9.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 25457 1954-03-11 12:46 CMSSBX10.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 25042 1954-03-11 12:46 CMSSDC10.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 20385 1954-03-11 12:46 CMSSI10.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 20416 1954-03-11 12:46 CMSSI12.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 20388 1995-10-11 16:51 CMSSI17.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 20432 1954-03-11 12:47 CMSSI8.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 20527 1954-03-11 12:47 CMSSI9.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 24478 1954-03-11 12:47 CMSSQ8.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 25562 1954-03-11 12:47 CMSSQI8.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 34195 1954-03-11 12:54 CMTI10.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 33568 1954-03-11 12:54 CMTI12.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 35639 1954-03-11 12:54 CMTI7.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 35580 1954-03-11 12:54 CMTI8.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 33877 1954-03-11 12:55 CMTI9.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 27729 1995-10-11 16:51 CMTT10.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 28615 1954-03-11 12:55 CMTT12.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 28372 1954-03-11 12:55 CMTT8.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 27568 2006-07-26 14:37 CMTT9.PFB dr-xr-xr-x 2 bnosratm ensc_image 4096 2006-06-04 15:07 PFM The files that contained a date of "1954-03-11" corresponded to the "Value too large for defined data type" message on Solaris host. To resolve the issue on the Solaris host, use the touch -r command on the Suse Linux host to set the date/time of the offending file(s) to that of a reference file: touch -r <reference_file> file After issuing the following command , the date was changed to the referenced file (Year = 1995) and the file(s) were viewable: This example of the touch command sets the date/time of CMTT10.PFB to that of CMR17.PFB # touch -r CMR17.PFB CMTT10.PFB # ls -l CMTT10.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 27729 1995-10-11 16:51 CMTT10.PFB This example of the touch command sets the date/time of all files ending with .PFB to that of CMR17.PFB # touch -r CMR17.PFB *.PFB # ls -l *.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 28123 1995-10-11 16:51 CMB10.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 27919 1995-10-11 16:51 CMBX10.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 27463 1995-10-11 16:51 CMBX12.PFB -r-xr-xr-x 1 bnosratm ensc_image 27471 1995-10-11 16:51 CMBX5.PFB : : : Product Sun StorageTek 5310 NAS Appliance NAS, "Value too large for defined data type", PFB, CMB, SE5310 Previously Published As 86458 Change History Date: 2006-08-07 User Name: 31620 Action: Approved Comment: Verified Metadata - ok Verified Keywords - ok Verified still correct for audience - currently set to contract Audience left at contract as per FvF at http://kmo.central/howto/content/voyager-contributor-standards.html Checked review date - currently set to 2007-07-26 Checked for TM - added appropriate for title Publishing under the current publication rules of 18 Apr 2005: Version: 3 Date: 2006-08-01 User Name: 31620 Action: Accept Comment: Version: 0 Date: 2006-08-01 User Name: 119902 Action: Approved Comment: I have reviewed this doc for technical accuracy Version: 0 Date: 2006-08-01 User Name: 119902 Action: Accept Comment: Version: 0 Date: 2006-07-26 User Name: 109562 Action: Approved Comment: OK Version: 0 Date: 2006-07-26 User Name: 109562 Action: Created Comment: Version: 0 Product_uuid 63654ce5-f88d-11d8-ab63-080020a9ed93|Sun StorageTek 5310 NAS Appliance Attachments This solution has no attachment |
