Solution Type Problem Resolution Sure Solution 1004236.1 : Unconfigured domains report "current year is 197x" after a reboot of the SC in 2007
PreviouslyPublishedAs 205860 Symptoms Customers are upgrading the firmware on their Sun Fire platforms as per Sun Alert 102617. Upon reset of SC similar messages to the following have been observed on unconfigured domains: Jan 08 12:44:30 Domain-B.SC: [ID 942993 local0.notice] NOTICE: SC was booted in year 2007, and Domain B current year is 1972. Current Daylight Saving Time rules will not be in effect. Please check Domain B date and time. Jan 09 12:44:32 Domain-B.SC: [ID 942993 local0.notice] NOTICE: SC was booted in year 2007, and Domain B current year is 1972. Current Daylight Saving Time rules will not be in effect. Please check Domain B date and time. Domain: D Jan 09 12:44:32 Domain-D.SC: [ID 654800 local0.notice] NOTICE: SC was booted in year 2007, and Domain D current year is 1972. Current Daylight Saving Time rules will not be in effect. Please check Domain D date and time. Resolution Set the date for all unconfigured domains or simply ignore the message.
