Symptoms
ALOM showfru command shows some 2GB DDR DIMM's as 8MB. The banner command at the ok prompt, the "prtdiag" command in Solaris[TM] and POST test output all show the memory size correctly.

Resolution
This is an informational calculation error only which will be fixed in a future release of ALOM. The system correctly operates all the memory on the DIMM's and there is no loss of functionality at all.

Relief/Workaround
Ignore the message. A future version of ALOM will fix this calculation error.
