SymptomsAfter placing a DLT7000 tape in a DLT4700 tape drive and typing:tar -xvf /dev/rmt/0 the error message "read IO error" is displayed. Changes{CHANGE}Cause{CAUSE}SolutionResolutionYou must use the "l" low density option when creating the tape on the DLT7000. You must also specify the "b" Berkeley device.
