Symptoms
The RAID firmware menu interface on the SE3510 array does not seem to auto-discover all of the HBAs attached to the array.
According to the documentation, when one uses the RAID firmware menu
interface to create host filters for luns, the HBAs attached to the
array are automatically discovered and listed, so that
one can simply choose from the available attached HBA WWNs.
However, this does not always seem to be the case, since some
HBAs connected to an array do not show up in the list
presented by the interface.

Resolution
This occurs when the host channel has ONLY a secondary SCSI ID (SID) assigned to it. In the example channel listing here
+---------------------------------------------------------------+
| Chl |Mode |PID|SID|DefSynClk|Def+id|S|Term|CurSynClk|Cur+id|
+======+=======+===+===+=========+======+=+====+=========+======+
| 0 |Host | 41| NA| AUTO |Serial|F| NA| 2 GHz |Serial|
+------+-------+---+---+---------+------+-+----+---------+------+
| 1 |Host | 44| 43| AUTO |Serial|F| NA| 2 GHz |Serial|
+------+-------+---+---+---------+------+-+----+---------+------+
|2(3;C)|DRV+RCC| 14| 15| AUTO |Serial|F| NA| 2 GHz |Serial|
+------+-------+---+---+---------+------+-+----+---------+------+
|3(2;C)|DRV+RCC| 14| 15| AUTO |Serial|F| NA| 2 GHz |Serial|
+------+-------+---+---+---------+------+-+----+---------+------+
| 4 |Host | 45| NA| AUTO |Serial|F| NA| 2 GHz |Serial|
+------+-------+---+---+---------+------+-+----+---------+------+
| 5 |Host | NA| 48| AUTO |Serial|F| NA| | |
+---------------------------------------------------------------+
One can see that host channel 5 was not assigned a primary scsi ID (PID)
by the person configuring this array. Instead, this channel has only a
secondary scsi ID (SID) assigned. [NOTE: When an array's
fiber-connection mode is point-to-point, each channel can have only a PID
or an SID, but not both].
Since the RAID firmware menu interface is running (by default) on the
primary controller, it is unable to determine static events occurring on
the secondary controller. This is the same reason why the RAID firmware
menu interface is unable to determine and display the speed (CurSynClk) of
the host channel interface for those host channels with only SIDs (see the
output above; channel 5 has no speed listed).
One way to have the RAID firmware menu interface determine events (like
speed and HBA WWNs) from the secondary controller (without having to
assign both an SID and PID to the same channel) is to use the CTRL-W
command within the interface to switch controllers to the secondary
controller. Once this is done, the HBA WWNs that were not visible for
channels with only an SID before will become visible, but, of course, HBAs
for those channels with PIDs only will not be visible.
