Solution Type FAB (standard) Sure Solution 1000705.1 : Hitrack versions (prior to B.2) for the SE9990 and SE9985 arrays can exit unexpectedly and may not send SIM notifications.
PreviouslyPublishedAs 200923 Product Sun StorageTek 9990 System Sun StorageTek 9985 System Impact Earlier versions of HiTrack for the SE9990 and SE9985 contained a bug that could cause the application to exit while performing file creation during the phone home process. This would lead to the subsystem not phoning home SIMs or daily calls. The Hitrack application will not restart automatically and must be manually restarted to once again begin receiving phone home and SIM data from the subsystem. This is an intermittent issue and might not occur on every phone home attempt. Resolution To remedy these issues, all SE9990 and SE9985 arrays should be running HiTrack version B.2 or higher. The latest version of HiTrack and the related ECN can be found on the SE9990.eng website at: http://se9990.eng/ecn.html#HI-TRACK-ECN Previously Published As 102018 Internal Comments None Related Information
