Netra[tm] t1 100/105 Servers: Repair Procedures

This section provides the most common repair procedures for the Netra t1 100/105, which are included in the following manual:

Component Tips
CD-ROM Drive
  • Recovering from a Netra t1 CDROM Failure (Problem article 1008580.1).
Memory Board
  • Netra t1 AC/DC systems supplied with 512MB of memory are now fitted with two 256MB cards, rather than a single 512MB card (FIN I0772-1).
Memory Boards (stack of four)
  • Netra t1 AC/DC systems supplied with 512MB of memory are now fitted with two 256MB cards, rather than a single 512MB card (FIN I0772-1).
Netra t1 100/105 (entire system)
  • This procedure provides instructions to replace an entire system, because you can re-use the old system's MAC address and serial number in the new system. This information is stored on the motherboard in a removable component called the Host ID chip.
PCI Card
  • If you are going to install an internal CD-ROM drive, do so before you install the PCI card. Otherwise you will have to remove the PCI card again.
