Notes
- The Solaris operating system is not supported at this time.
- Heatsinks 310-0254 and 310-0255 are pre-greased with Shin-Etsu X23-7783D.
- The X6275 M2 FRU includes four 310-0065 Shin-Etsu X23-7783D syringes.
Chassis Notes
- X6275 M2 10GbE is supported in the Sun Blade 6000 A90-B and A90-D.
- X6275 M2 10GbE is not supported in the Sun Blade 6000 A90-A or
in the Sun Blade 6048.
- The Sun Blade X6275 M2 10GbE requires a PCI Express 2.0 Midplane.
- Sun Blade 6000 Midplane 501-7376 supports PCI Express 1.1.
- Sun Blade 6000 Midplanes 511-1298 and 511-1487 support PCI Express 2.0.
Memory Installation Notes
- Install Blue socket DIMMs D5/D3/D1 then install White socket DIMMs D4/D2/D0.
- The configuration of CPU0 and CPU1 memory on each Node must be identical.
- Supported configurations are three DIMMs per CPU or six DIMMs per CPU.
- Maximum speed is 1333MHz when 1333MHz DIMMs are installed in D1, D3, and D5.
- Maximum speed is 1066MHz when any speed DIMMs are installed in all slots.
