Appendix D

Tool Key and Button Bindings

Introduction

The six drawing tools in Visual Thought can perform a variety of operations through the use of certain combinations of keys and buttons. These are referred to as key and button bindings. This appendix summarizes the available key and button bindings and the operations they perform.

Many of the named button bindings depend on the current look-and-feel. These are documented for each look-and-feel in the appendix entitled
"Look and Feels" on page 257.

Some button bindings have associated names, such as Select, Adjust, and Drag. These names, when appropriate, are indicated in the following tables. The bindings shown are for the default OSF Motif look-and-feel.
